Livestock Truck Crashes In Hunter Valley

Hunter Valley police are dealing with a messy job at Denman, after semi-trailer carrying livestock overturned bringing down powerlines.

The crash has blocked Denman Road at the Golden Highway, with diversions in place.

The truck driver is ok and didn't need to be taken to hospital.

A large amount of cattle has run off, however it's understood some of the animals died in the crash.

Local vets and other agencies are on scene helping with the removal of the cattle.
